Refunds, Exchanges & Returns
Refund Policy
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order number, receipt or proof of purchase.
Dakota Craftd recommends returns be sent via a traceable carrier (tracking number). Dakota Craftd is not responsible for returns/packages not received back by Dakota Craftd.
To start a return, you can contact us at trophy_grl@hotmail.com. If your return is accepted, due to a defect or product damage that occurred prior to the delivery, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package (please see Damaged Items and Other Issues section below). Please note that we take every precaution to avoid using damaged leather products, some flaws in leather are natural and are considered unique to the processing of leather products or are flaws naturally acquired by the animal prior to processing, such flaws are not considered defects and will not be refunded or returned.
If you choose not to insure any purchase/s for shipping any damages that occur as a result of the shipping process or to the packaging being damaged during the shipping process, Dakota Craftd is not responsible, and you should contact the Shipping carrier. Once items are accepted or delivered to shipping carrier, Dakota Craftd is no longer responsible for that item/package.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please note shipping fees for items returned outside of damages or defects will be your (the customers) responsibility, the initial shipping fees are non-refundable.

Damaged Items and Other Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt/delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). For hygienic reasons, earrings that have been worn cannot be accepted for return, refund or exchange. Any leather item/s worn close to or on the skin is not eligible for return, refund or exchange once worn since leather can absorb oils, sweat or dirt from the skin as well as makeup, lotion or perfume.
Unfortunately, gift boxes, seasonal/specialty items, custom orders, mystery items, sale items and gift cards are not eligible for return, refund or exchange.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
